The purpose of this job is…..

As a Bupa ecosystem ambassador, the Health Services Connectivity Lead champions Bupa’s integrated health services, coaching frontline teams to confidently connect customers across Dental, Optical, Medical, Mindplace, Health Insurance and other Bupa services. The role delivers a personalised, seamless customer experience, supporting customers to navigate Bupa’s services and proactively connecting them to the most relevant care through a consultative approach. 

In this exciting new role, you will serve as a trusted guide. As the Connectivity Lead , you will support customers and enhance frontline capability by activating referral pathways that encourage proactive use of Bupa services, enable timely access to care, and help realise the full value of the ecosystem. You will build strong relationships across leaders and teams, driving consistency in customer experience and collaboration across sites, and operates within practices, stores and clinics to embed capability and maintain high service standards.

The role involves travel, as you will work across practices, stores, and clinics, prioritising your presence based on customer demand and business needs. You will be expected to operate across multiple sites and clinical settings, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coach and uplift frontline teams to confidently understand and activate the Bupa ecosystem in everyday customer interactions. 
  • Build capability in identifying customer needs, introducing relevant services and initiating referral pathways. 
  • Provide in-the-moment coaching, role modelling and practical guidance within practices, stores and clinics. 
  • Support leaders and teams to embed consistent behaviours that drive customer outcomes and service utilisation.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with frontline teams and leaders across Dental, Optical, Medical and Health Insurance particular in local hubs. 
  • Act as a visible and credible Bupa ecosystem ambassador across sites. 
  • Identify customer needs and provide clear, tailored guidance on suitable Bupa services. 
  • Support customers to confidently navigate services, providing reassurance and continuity of care.
  • Activate referral pathways across Health Insurance, Dental, Optical, Medical and Mindplace to drive utilisation and customer value. 
  • Promote preventative health, member entitlements, campaigns and neighbourhood offerings aligned to customer needs. 
  • Support and embed warm referral practices across sites, ensuring a consistent and high-quality customer journey.
  • Use data and reporting to identify opportunities to improve ecosystem activation and customer outcomes. 
  • Share actionable insights with local leaders to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.  
  • Collaborate with frontline teams to ensure smooth, consistent and high-quality customer interactions. 
  • Maintain strong knowledge of services, campaigns and operational processes across the ecosystem.

What you’ll need to make it possible

  • Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality customer experiences in health, retail, hospitality, concierge or service-based environments. 
  • Proven ability to proactively engage customers, build rapport quickly and tailor interactions to individual needs. 
  • High level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to adapt approach based on customer and team needs. 
  • Proactive and outcome-driven, with the ability to identify opportunities, connect services and drive customer and business outcomes. 
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage time, priorities and customer interactions effectively
  • Digital literacy, including confidence using booking systems, referral platforms and reporting tools. 
  • Ability to interpret and utilise data or insights to inform actions and improve customer and business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of the Bupa ecosystem, including Health Services (Dental, Optical, Medical, Mindplace) and Health Insurance. 
  • Understanding of health and insurance terminology and customer pathways. 
  • Experience in service promotion, cross-referrals, lead generation or consultative sales approaches. 
  • Exposure to reporting, insights or performance tracking to support continuous improvement.
