Senior Software Engineer - Android

Opportunity Snapshot
- Be an integral part of the Digital Mobile Core Tech team to meet business expectations in the mobile environment.
- This role is primarily focused on providing expertise in modern Android native development, particularly focusing on the Kotlin language, for the mobile client and working with feature teams to work on new and existing features.
- The person should be capable to design end to end solutions and provide feedback on others solution design(s) to ensure they meet operation needs.
What you’ll need to make it possible
- Tertiary qualification in an IT discipline
- Minimum experience in similar role.
- At least 4 years of experience in Android native Kotlin technologies.
- Other experience with mobile development using languages such as Java, Swift, Objective-C or .Net Xamarin highly regarded
- REST Services and Azure knowledge and experience highly regarded.
- Great analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to go the “extra mile” to achieve the business outcome
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills to technical and non technical audiences.
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
