The key focus of this role is to continue to deliver stable change and run services within the Health Insurance Portfolio and in partnership with Health Insurance Business leadership. 

This role works with Health Insurance business stakeholders, understands the business context and the strategic outcomes, and works with architects, technology teams, and external service providers to understand the underlying technologies. It works as part of an integrated service model with accountability for developing and delivering end-to-end technology services into the HI business unit. The role is accountable for designing, building, pricing, and enhancing the service, as well as service delivery and cost recovery

What you’ll need to make it possible 

  • 15+ years technology experience, with a breadth and depth of disciplines across technology delivery. 
  • Significant experience managing business change demand together with key stakeholder management. 
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills. Thinks creatively and challenges the ‘way we do things’ to support peers and teams to find better ways together. 
  • Actively participates as a member and contributor of a technology and business leadership groups, providing high-quality support and advice to peers. Involved in supporting effective commercial decision making. 
  • Able to engage team members at all levels to understand challenges and issues, supporting teams and leaders at varying levels to find solutions to enable effective and timely delivery within fast-paced business and technology teams. 
  • Demonstrated passion for supporting the technology career development of our people and continuing to promote and actively increase diversity across the technology industry. 
  • Able to drive operational excellence and a positive culture of performance. 
  • Experience in working within the Health Insurance, or similar industry within a customer-centric organisation.
