 Responsibilities

  • Provide deep expertise in FHIR standards, data models, and implementation approaches to ensure consistent, scalable, and compliant health data exchange across platforms.
  • Translate clinical, regulatory, and business requirements into FHIR-based solutions, ensuring alignment between healthcare workflows and technical implementation.
  • Ensure that FHIR implementations conform to standards and profiles (e.g. implementation guides, terminology standards), maintaining data quality, consistency, and interoperability.
  • Support the design and delivery of FHIR-based integrations and APIs, enabling seamless data exchange between EHRs, Healthcare Platform, and partners.

  • Build internal capability through knowledge sharing, documentation, and mentoring, increasing organisational maturity in FHIR and interoperability practices.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including FHIR, HL7, CDA and healthcare interoperability solutions, including the design and delivery of APIs and data exchange capabilities across complex technology ecosystems.
  • Experience acting as key point of contact for FHIR across multiple teams, with strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance business and technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Analytical focus with an appreciation of data analysis, commercial drivers, business viability, and technical feasibility.
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
  • Experience working across multiple streams in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
