Embedded with delivery squads from discovery through delivery and operational handover, the role ensures solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, maintainable, supportable, and aligned to enterprise architecture. This is a hands-on role that will draw on deep Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Azure expertise, while providing architecture-level accountability and decision authority for relevant applications, including application architecture, integration patterns, and data models.
What you’ll need to make it possible:
- Tertiary qualification in an IT discipline or related field
- Expert in configuration and development of Dynamics 365 CRM applications, including adjacent services and technologies such as the Power Platform, SSIS, Plugins, Logic Apps, Web Apps, API Design and Function Apps
- Expertise in Power Apps Portals for Dynamics 365 applications is essential

- Experience as an architect in Dataverse modelling, Dynamics 365 security roles, integrations, and Azure Services
- Experience in .NET / C# experience including Web Services development and deployment.
What you’ll be doing in this role:
Solution & Application Architecture
- Own application architecture within the assigned Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform domain, working within enterprise and solution architecture guardrails and strategic roadmaps.
- Translate business needs, user workflows and system requirements into secure, scalable and maintainable solution designs across Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, Power Pages and Azure services.
- Produce high-level architecture and design artefacts for customisations, integrations, data migration and solution evolution, ensuring functional and non-functional requirements are addressed.
- Act as embedded architecture owner for priority initiatives, supporting backlog shaping, design runway, estimation inputs, sprint-level design clarification and technical risk resolution.
Integration & Platform Design
- Own integration architecture and design patterns for interactions between Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, Azure services and enterprise applications.
- Design and govern solutions using Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management and event-driven architecture patterns.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks and tools that align with project requirements, organisational standards and long-term architectural direction.
Design Authority, Governance & Assurance
- Provide technical design authority for assigned application architecture decisions, including application structure, integration patterns, data models and solution guardrails.
- Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, resilience, security, supportability, maintainability and operational readiness.
- Ensure application architecture, design and development align with Bupa’s enterprise architecture, solution architecture, security standards, coding practices and MACH principles.
- Review and approve technical designs, identify architecture risks and recommend mitigation strategies before and during delivery
