The purpose of this role
As an integral member of the Workplace Technology & Enablement leadership team, the Manager - EUC Support leads a team of engineers responsible for delivering high-quality Level 2 End User Computing (EUC) support services across Bupa Australia. This role ensures seamless workplace technology experiences through the management of desktop, laptop and mobile device lifecycles, technical support services, site technology deployments, vendor relationships and operational excellence.
We are looking for a people-first leader with strong operational and strategic capabilities, a proven track record of building high-performing teams, driving innovation and continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Experience in highly regulated environments such as healthcare or financial services will be highly regarded.
What you’ll need to make it possible
- Tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong background in IT technical support, workplace technology and end-user computing environments.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical support teams and service delivery operations.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Office 365, Intune, SCCM, Teams, SharePoint, Planner and Power Platform.
- Experience managing device lifecycle services, asset management and technical support functions.
- Strong vendor and third-party management experience, including service level and contract management.
- Experience delivering technology support for multi-site environments including offices, retail locations and healthcare facilities.
- Knowledge of Agile practices, IT service management principles and change/adoption methodologies.
- Experience with ServiceNow and end-to-end project or program delivery.
- Strong commercial acumen, budgeting experience and stakeholder management capability.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills.
- Ability to think strategically, drive continuous improvement and translate insights into action.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate Level 2 technical support services for end-user devices, mobility, collaboration technologies and peripheral equipment.
- Oversee support delivery across head offices, retail stores, clinics and other Bupa locations.
- Manage technology support for site fit-outs, refurbishments, relocations and decommissioning activities.
- Ensure services meet agreed SLA, risk, governance, security and compliance requirements.
- Manage Tech Bar and deskside support services, leveraging both internal teams and external partners.
- Drive operational excellence through process improvement, automation and technology innovation.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team of engineers.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts and service performance.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes and continuous service improvements.
- Support strategic planning and long-term workplace technology roadmaps.
