The Bupa Health Insurance (HI) HealthCare Management (HCM) team are embarking on a strategic direction that involves a large program of work which spans across HI and the broader Bupa business, contributing to the Savannah27 strategy and Claims Transformation Program. This program will execute the HCM strategic plan and includes large strategic initiatives and significant changes.
The opportunity:
This role will support the ways of working for project delivery of strategic and BAU projects.
As the Senior Manager, Program Delivery & Execution, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team of Delivery Managers, Business Analysts and Execution Leads and will partner closely with initiative owner/s, business leaders across Bupa HI and technology teams to deliver high quality, senior level end to end project management services, support and experience, driving HCM strategic initiatives for our customers and providers.
Given the number of initiatives, the scale and impact of the change program and the timeframe, this role will manage multiple projects simultaneously and therefore must be a delivery focussed leader, taking a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment.
This is a permanent role, that can be based in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney or Adelaide.
We offer hybrid work arrangements, so you’ll have the flexibility to work from home when you aren’t working from the office 2 days a week. Our offices are in the Melbourne/Brisbane/Sydney/Adelaide CBD.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have:
- Recognised people leadership experience with the ability to build strong teams with purpose and focus.
- 5+ years program management experience running large and complex projects.
- Experience running multiple projects in parallel with high complexity and multiple dependencies.
- Demonstrated experience developing business cases and funding requests in line with quarterly planning.
- Experience identifying and recommending operational efficiencies and processes.
How will I help?
You will add value by:
- Acting as a conduit between the Initiative (program) and the business to ensure all Project Delivery activity and messaging is aligned and effectively integrated to deliver to plan.
- Leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the HCM program of work as per the agreed roadmap and approved business case and 3YP funding.
- Monitoring and supporting HCM ideas submitted through the HCM Front Door, and continuous development and improvement of HCM processes.
- Supporting initiative owners in project initiation with preparing documents, for EDO forums and supporting the accuracy of information into Planview as the source of truth.
- Leading Delivery Managers to initiative document scope, timelines, costs and benefits are clearly defined and managed effectively with any changes communicated and approved in accordance with the EDO governance framework.
- Supporting Business Analysts to produce key documents and requirements that support project delivery and outcomes.
- Leading and contributing to the change capability in the HCM business and leaders to enable better change and integration outcomes including the Change Network.
