Planning and Reporting Manager, APAC

The purpose of the Planning and Reporting Manager role is to support the Asia Pacific (APAC) Market Unit Executive Leadership Team and Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Board in providing high quality, timely, accurate and insightful financial performance reporting and effective forecasting and annual planning processes. This role will lead across the five APAC Businesses and functional teams in Planning and Forecasting activity and ensures all areas are coordinated and working together.
How will I help?
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of financial planning for APAC, including Annual Operating Plan, Forecasts, and 3 Year Plans
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across APAC (finance and non-finance) to ensure effective delivery of our key financial targets
- Drive continual enhancements across planning and forecasting processes of the individual businesses into the APAC Market Unit
- Ownership of the Enterprise-wide driver model and monthly estimates for senior executives
- Provide monthly reporting and commentary as well as assisting with global UK Board reporting
- Responsible for identifying and prioritising recommendations for process improvement, and drive implementation where possible with the finance systems team
- Involvement in other finance projects that align with Bupa APAC’s strategic priorities.

What do I need?
The ideal candidate will be CA or CPA qualified and have extensive experience in a similar finance role within a large, complex, matrixed organisation. You will have strong commercial acumen and an in depth understanding of the dynamics within a multifaceted business environment.
You will have demonstrated experience in engaging and collaborating with stakeholders across different businesses particularly in high-level discussions with senior executives. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to understand, utilise, and improve sophisticated planning and reporting systems. Experience with Oracle Enterprise Planning is highly advantageous. Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to build financial models and templates, is a must. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, adaptable, and possess a can-do attitude, with a strong desire to continue learning and developing professionally.
