We’re on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Operational Excellence Partner to join Bupa’s Health Services side of the business. In this pivotal role, you will be accountable for executing a variety of priorities established in collaboration with the General Manager, Operational Excellence, including routine decision-making responsibilities. This role requires strategic planning across various business units to deliver services efficiently.
How will I help?
- Lead and deliver a range of strategic projects and initiatives aligned to Health Services priorities and desired business outcomes.
- Manage multiple complex projects across diverse business units, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivery of measurable value.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation to foster collaboration and shared ownership.
- Support businesses within the Health Services portfolio to identify opportunities for growth, transformation, continuous improvement, process simplification, standardisation and optimisation.
- Influence individuals and teams to evolve and optimise ways of working, including processes, procedures, work instructions, risk and control management.
- Apply structured project management methodologies to plan, execute and monitor initiatives, balancing competing priorities and timelines.
- Monitor and evaluate project outcomes to ensure benefits are realised and lessons are captured for future initiatives.
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to a shared Operational Excellence Consultant, ensuring clarity of priorities, expectations and development opportunities.

What do I need?
- Tertiary qualifications in business, project/program management or a related discipline.
- Experience in management consulting, strategy, project/program management and stakeholder management roles in large organisations ideally in the health care industry.
- Significant proven experience to influence and drive change across stakeholder groups.
- Exceptional demonstrated analytical, verbal, process, and written reporting skills to communicate concepts and deliver meaningful information.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, that has ability to work in a fast-moving collaborative culture with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes through consultation and collaboration.
- Significant experience in leading the development and facilitation of presentations and workshops with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive engagement, creating an environment that ensures people are engaged, motivated, informed, and onboard with the organisation’s direction, goals and activities.
- Strong project management skills with experience working across strategy and execution and a proven bias for action.
