Lead Business Analyst

Opportunity Snapshot:
As part of the Technology Team, this role will partner closely with business representatives to deliver high quality Lead Business Analysis services, at pace to drive strategic outcomes for Bupa’s customers.
Responsible for business analysis leadership within a domain, ensuring the effective articulation, and sign-off, of scope and requirements in alignment with business outcomes for change initiatives. Role dimension includes people management and continuous improvement of business analysis services within the domain

Qualifications and training
- Minimum 5 years with hands-on experience in business analysis within multi-disciplinary software delivery teams
- Practical experience of operating hybrid delivery methods for technology development, including agile methodologies, waterfall delivery and lean, using various techniques such as use cases, process mapping, user stories, etc.
- Experience working with delivery and collaboration toolsets, especially work systems e.g., MS Azure DevOps, Atlassian, etc.
- Broad technology understanding of multiple platform types – this role requires sufficient technical understanding of various technical platforms within a domain to enable effective collaboration with technical teams as well as business and delivery team members
- Excellent team and talent development skills, with evidence of having established high performing business analysis teams, including recruitment and career development. Experience working within matrix structures, with demonstrated ability to broker outcomes effectively and collaboratively with colleagues and peers.
- Evidence of continuous improvement, developing purposeful solutions and practices to improve applications, end-to-end solutions, and team performance.
- Ability to work in an evolving environment of agile software delivery, or more traditional modes depending on the nature of the application and teaming requirements
