Hospital and Provider Governance Advisor

The opportunity:
The ADF Health Services Hospital and Provider Governance Advisor will support the Hospital and Provider Performance Manager in the execution of the hospital contracting strategy ensuring access to high quality services and value is delivered to Defence personnel and Bupa.
The Hospital and Provider Governance Advisor will deliver all governance, quality assurance, process improvement, and auditing requirements. This role will lead, advise and support all functions on effective business and quality to optimise operational excellence.
How will I help?
- Develop and maintain reports to share meaningful data insights.
- Respond to Invoice Team escalations, enabling the resolution of issues in a timely manner aligned with expectations.
- Coordinate all service delivery analytics requests, providing meaningful insights and tools to enable better outcomes.
- Coordinate all hospital queries alongside contract and hospital SMEs.
- Support the Network Partnership team with:
- Terms and conditions reviews with legal, commercial/contracting and clinical teams;
- Maintain a Service Provider Assurance Plan to ensure alignment with the Head Contract Obligations;
- Communications to the provider network;
- Advice relating to provider network audits;
- Assisting with provider escalations in relation to financial approvals;
- Interpretation and communication regarding commercial financial analysis; and
- Any associated ad hoc requests.
- Development of templates for correspondence, presentations and administrative processes.
- Documentation management (creation, review etc).
- Support the Hospital and Provider Performance Manager with establishing a complaint and incident handling framework for the Customer and Commercial Invoicing Teams in accordance with Bupa and Defence requirements.
- Support and co-ordinate business process improvement initiatives, in conjunction with leadership team, that meets contractual and legislative requirements and key performance indicators as set by Bupa and Defence.
You will have:
- Relevant experience working in a similar role.
- Relevant tertiary education or equivalent experience required.
- Experience in quality and health care accreditation desired.
- Demonstrated ability to build and refine service delivery and clinical governance processes.
- Experience within the private or public health care systems and the related regulatory environments.
