The purpose of this job is:
The Financial Reporting Manager - Process & Integrations (12 month fixed term contract) will lead the financial control integration workstream for acquired and new health centres and mental health clinics, ensuring seamless onboarding into Bupa finance processes, systems and reporting frameworks.
The role is also responsible for driving standardisation, automation, simplification and uplift of finance processes and financial control frameworks across the Health Services Business Unit, with a strong focus on scalability, automation and operational excellence.
In addition to integration and transformation responsibilities, the role provides support to BAU Financial Control teams during peak periods, including month-end, quarter-end, year-end, audit and budget cycles.
How will you help?
- Lead end-to-end finance integration of acquired and new health centres and mental health clinics into Bupa reporting, systems and processes
- Manage migration of general ledgers, reporting structures and financial workflows into Bupa
- Develop structured transition plans to align acquired businesses with Bupa policies, controls and reporting requirements
- Act as key finance integration contact for acquired businesses, managing stakeholder alignment and operational transition
- Drive change management activities to ensure successful adoption of Bupa finance processes and ways of working
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure smooth onboarding and integration delivery
- Lead and support change management across finance teams impacted by integration and process redesign
- Process Improvement, Standardisation & Automation
- Review, redesign and optimise key finance processes including month-end close, reconciliations, journals and reporting
- Drive end-to-end standardisation of finance processes across all businesses to ensure consistency and scalability
- Identify and implement automation opportunities
- Remove process inefficiencies and friction points to improve accuracy, timeliness and operating efficiency
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to embed best-practice finance operating models
What you’ll need to make it possible:
We’re looking for a CA/CPA qualified experienced financial control/audit professional ideally with exposure to transformation projects or integration projects. Experience working across healthcare sites or multi location clinical environments is desirable. This role will suit someone who thrives in complex environments and has a proven track record of improving financial control processes, driving efficiency, and supporting business integration.
Strong excel capability and hands on experience with ERP systems (Implementation, mirgration or optimisation exposure as well as an ability to analyse current-state processes and design practical, scalable improvements.
