Digital Product Manager – Bupa Dental (Byte Squad)

About the role

As a Digital Product Manager in the Bupa Dental (‘Byte’) squad, you’ll lead the development of digital experiences that help customers discover, book and access dental care with ease.

You’ll sit at the centre of business, customer and technology—contributing to the product vision and driving delivery that improves both customer outcomes and commercial performance. Partnering closely with Bupa Dental Operations, Technology (e.g. Salesforce, Dentally), Clinical and Commercial teams will be a key part of success in this role. From optimising digital booking pathways to unlocking new partnership opportunities, you’ll play a key role in growing Bupa’s Dental offering.

This role combines strategy and delivery—owning the roadmap, leading discovery, and ensuring initiatives deliver real value to both customers and the business.

What you’ll be responsible for

Product strategy & roadmap

  • Own and evolve the digital product roadmap for Bupa Dental, aligned to enterprise and business strategic priorities
  • Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and commercial levers to inform product direction
  • Partner with the Product Lead to shape and deliver the broader product strategy and vision

Discovery & innovation

  • Lead discovery to validate ideas before they enter delivery
  • Use data,insights and experimentation to identify the right product/market fit
  • Balance customer needs with commercial outcomes to prioritise the highest-value opportunities

Delivery leadership

  • Translate strategy into clear initiatives, features and a prioritised backlog
  • Lead your squad through discovery, design and delivery to release high-quality outcomes
  • Ensure stakeholders and teams are aligned on priorities, value and outcomes

Partnerships & ecosystem growth

  • Work across health services and related partnerships to optimise existing digital pathways
  • Unlock new opportunities through partner integrations (e.g. APIs)
  • Align initiatives to strategic priorities and ensure they are ready for scalable delivery

Customer & commercial focus

  • Act as the voice of the customer and the business in all decisions
  • Drive continuous optimisation through A/B and multivariate testing
  • Use analytics and insights to track performance and improve outcomes

Leadership & collaboration

  • Lead and develop your cross-functional squad comprised of a Business and Test Analysts, Designer and Engineers
  • Collaborate across squads, stakeholders and partner teams to deliver end-to-end experiences
  • Partner closely with Bupa Dental Operations, Technology (e.g. Salesforce, Dentally), Clinical and Commercial teams to align priorities and deliver successful outcomes
  • Communicate a clear and compelling product vision that brings teams on the journey


What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience as a Digital Product Manager in an Agile environment
  • Strong understanding of product strategy, discovery and delivery
  • Experience forming a product vision and translating it into a roadmap and backlog
  • A data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to inform decisions
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence across teams
  • Experience working in fast-paced, complex environments with multiple streams
  • Knowledge of Lean Product, Agile and Human-Centred Design principles
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics or similar)
  • Experience leading or developing people in your squad (desirable)
