The Opportunity

This role is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform within Coupa, ensuring the system is effectively configured, governed, and continuously enhanced to support enterprise contract management.

As a key enterprise systems role, you will act as the functional owner of CLM, maintaining system stability while driving ongoing optimisation, usability, and process improvement across the contract lifecycle.

You will work closely with stakeholders across Legal, Procurement, Finance Systems, Technology, and external partners to ensure the platform delivers a consistent, compliant, and efficient contract management experience.

This role suits someone who thrives in complex enterprise environments and enjoys combining system configuration, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement to optimise how systems operate and evolve.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Act as functional owner and Super User for Coupa CLM 
  • Configure and maintain workflows, approval processes, templates, clause libraries and metadata 
  • Support end users through training, onboarding and day-to-day issue resolution 
  • Partner with Legal, Procurement, Finance Systems and Technology to resolve issues and deliver enhancements 
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with Coupa Support where required 
  • Manage contract templates and clause libraries to ensure consistency, compliance and usability 
  • Support testing, system changes and Coupa release management 
  • Identify recurring issues and drive system and process improvements 
  • Support migration of contracts into CLM and ensure ongoing governance and maintenance 
  • Contribute to audit, compliance and reporting requirements through system data and extracts 

About You

You are a confident systems professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys improving how enterprise systems work.

You bring:

  • Strong experience in CLM systems within Coupa (highly desirable) or similar platforms (e.g. Salesforce or other CRM/CLM systems) 
  • Strong understanding of workflow design, system configuration and end-to-end process flows 
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capability with the ability to influence across business, legal and technical teams 
  • Clear and confident communicator with the ability to navigate complex discussions 
  • Strong change capability – able to drive adoption and support users through system and process change 
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, patterns and improvement opportunities 
  • Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment 
  • Ability to translate technical system detail into clear, practical user guidance and training
