Will my employment continue following settlement? 

Yes. Your employment will continue uninterrupted following settlement. 

The company named as your employer in your employment contract (known as your employing entity) will remain the same, even though its ownership will change. 

As a result, there will be no interruption to your employment, no break in your recognised service, and no requirement for you to sign a new employment contract. Your existing terms and conditions of employment will remain in place following settlement. 

Do I need to sign a new employment agreement? 

No. There is no requirement for a new employment contract as a result of the acquisition, as Bupa will acquire and own the existing employing entities which includes existing employment contracts. 

As we progress through integration and review systems and processes, we will assess whether any changes are required in the future. If so, this would be undertaken in consultation with employees. 

Do I need to do anything as a result of the acquisition? 

No action is required from employees at this time. 

Should any actions be required in the future, we will communicate directly with affected employees and provide the necessary support and guidance. 

Will my workplace policies or employment conditions change? 

No immediate changes are planned to your employment conditions or the policies that currently apply to your employment. 

You should continue to follow existing policies, procedures and ways of working unless advised otherwise. 

As integration planning progresses, we will review policies and processes across the business. If any changes are proposed, they will be communicated in advance. 

Will there be a change to my compensation? 

No, your current remuneration arrangements, employment conditions and contractual entitlements will continue to apply following settlement. 

What happens to my leave entitlements? 

There is no change to your leave entitlements. Your accrued leave balances, including annual leave, personal/carer's leave (where applicable), and long service leave entitlements, will remain unchanged. 

You will continue to accrue and access leave in accordance with your existing employment terms and company policies. 

Will my length of service be recognised? 

Your recognised service will continue uninterrupted following settlement. Your original employment commencement date will continue to be recognised for all service-related purposes, including the calculation of entitlements that are based on length of service. 

Will my superannuation arrangements change? 

There are no immediate changes to superannuation arrangements following settlement. Contributions will continue to be made in accordance with current arrangements and legislative requirements. 

Will payroll, systems or processes change? 

There are no immediate changes to payroll, rostering, HR systems or day-to-day processes following settlement. 

As integration planning progresses, opportunities to align systems and processes may be explored. Any changes will be communicated in advance. 

Who will I report to? 

There are no immediate changes to reporting lines following settlement. 

Over the coming months, we will work to better understand how Partnered Health and Bupa operate together. If any changes to organisational structures or reporting arrangements are proposed in the future, they will be communicated to impacted employees. 

When will I be able to access Bupa employee benefits? 

Bupa offers a broad range of employee benefits through Bupa Viva, our health & wellbeing program, including health insurance discounts and other wellbeing initiatives. 

As part of the integration, we will work through the timing of when these benefits will be available for Partnered Health team members and will confirm details as they become clearer.
