Breastfeeding-friendly workplace

Bupa supports our people who are breastfeeding by providing facilities in the workplace.

  • Access to a refrigerator where the employee can store any breast milk

Your time away

  • To recognise the diversity of family units, Bupa now have an improved parental leave policy. We allow gender neutral 12 weeks of paid parental leave. We’re also giving you greater flexibility in the way you can take your parental leave by giving you the option to take leave in two blocks instead of one block. This means you can be more flexible in a way that suits your family’s needs. 
  • Keep in touch days: Your first few weeks back will be a process of reorienting yourself to the world of work, finding the rhythm that works best for you and your team, and getting back into the swing of things.
  • Flexible work requests: If you are returning to work from your Parental Leave, you may request flexible working arrangements to support your return.
