As part of the Bupa family, we’re offering an exciting opportunity to join a growing Urgent Care service and make a real impact in the delivery of accessible healthcare across North Queensland.

We are currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our team on a casual basis, with approximately 25 hours per week available across a rotating roster.

Typical shift times include:

  • 7:45am – 3:00pm
  • 2:45pm – 10:00pm

The Opportunity

Join a fast-paced Urgent Care Clinic providing treatment for patients requiring immediate medical attention without the need for an Emergency Department visit.

Working alongside experienced GPs and nurses, you'll play a key role in delivering timely, high-quality care to patients presenting with a variety of acute conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Triage and assessment of urgent presentations
  • Clinical observations and patient monitoring
  • Assisting with treatments and procedures
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy variety, thrive in dynamic environments, and are passionate about acute patient care.

About You

  • Registered Nurse with unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Previous experience in Urgent Care, Emergency or am Acute Care setting
  • Strong triage and patient assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
