Bupa Tamworth is a modern care home positioned in the quiet garden suburbs of Australia’s country music capital. It is close to the bustling city centre, Botanical gardens, Peel River, local parks and nearby cafes. It consists of 105 beds, with a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

Whilst working shifts as a Carer – Care Therapy, you will work under the guidance of allied health professionals to support implementation of the residents’ plan of care by hosting group and individual residents programmes including therapy/exercise sessions, supporting telehealth assessments, participate in interdisciplinary team collaboration to provide the Care Team with a deeper understanding of each referred resident’s clinical situation including completing progress notes and charting completed exercise programs, and undertaking other general Carer activities as required.
You’ll join a supportive, collaborative and caring team to make a positive impact to the lives of our residents and participate in continuous improvement activities within the care home as requested by the Clinical management team.

What will you bring?
- Min Certificate 3 qualification in either; Ageing, Individual Support, Care or Disability
- A passion and energy for world class care
- Ability to work as part of a tight-knit team and delegate effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong understanding of Resident Rights, and Aged Care Accreditation Standards and their Outcomes
