Workforce Planning Manager

The opportunity:
We’re hiring a Workforce Planning Manager for a high-impact role at Bupa Aged Care.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a workforce planning strategy and framework and business partnering with senior operations stakeholders and talent acquisition teams to ensure workforce forecasts and plans are delivered upon. You will also contribute to key time and attendance system enhancement projects as a subject matter expert and drive data analysis of workforce KPIs to support effective and efficient rostering.

This is a permanent full-time role and can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide with hybrid work arrangements.
How will I help?
Key accountabilities include:
- Develop and implement a workforce planning strategy in collaboration with the Head of Workforce Optimisation.
- Develop workforce forecasts and plans for hiring needs and partner with Senior Operational and Talent Acquisition Leaders to deliver.
- Preparation and provision of workforce reporting, data and insights, including shift filling reporting and roster risk dashboards to influence Senior Operational Leaders decisions.
- Drive data analysis of workforce KPIs to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and improvements in workforce scheduling.
- Investigate and make recommendations to the business on effective and efficient rostering, scheduling and reporting methods and implement changes as approved.
- Continuously improve workforce planning processes for operational efficiency, consistency and adherence to BVAC’s obligations.
- Subject matter expert support for key Time and Attendance system enhancement projects

What do I need?
- Previous experience in a Workforce Planning Manager role
- Proven ability to foster relationships with and influence senior stakeholders, providing advice to achieve commercial outcomes.
- In-depth knowledge of workforce management and rostering systems.
- Excellent understanding and application of Resource Planning processes and methodology.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated time management skills including the ability to manage competing priorities to achieve deadlines and desired outcomes.
- Knowledge and experience in interpretation and application of Award.
- Strong excel skills
