The purpose of the role

Automation Tester is responsible to design, develop, execute, and maintain automation scripts in projects/programs within BUPA Technology by adhering to and implementing the missions, goals, standards, and test processes that have been established for Bupa Australia’s (ALM) Application Life Cycle Management

What you’ll need to make it possible 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Selenium with any language, C# preferred 
  • Test Automation Techniques for API and Service Layer 
  • Automation Techniques for Windows based application 
  • Automation Mass/Bulk execution techniques e.g. Selenium Grid, Test Agents Pool, Browser Stack 
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps & Agile Testing 
  • Experienced in developing test automation frameworks using Selenium and Microsoft Visual Studio  Exposure to Testing Integration in DevOps pipeline [CI-CD] 
  • Good understanding of branching strategies and GitHub 
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in ASP.NET/C#, XML, SOAP, SAML, SQL Server, Visual Studio and Azure DevOps TFS stack 
  • Good Object Orientated (OOP) software development experience with C# .Net 
  • Good understanding of Microsoft technology and tools like Visual Studio and Azure DevOps Dynamic CRM etc 
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high quality code, undertake code reviews and provide feedback to the other developers 
  • Experienced in SQL, UML, SCRUM 
  • Experience in automation feasibility analysis 
  • Implementation and maintenance of automated test suites/scripts 
  • Visual Studio Tools 
  • Experience with DevOps tools and processes 
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification 
  • ISTQB preferred but not essential 
  • Test methodologies and testing tools
