Time and Attendance Compliance Support Officer

The opportunity
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Time and Attendance Support Officer to join our team.
This is a permanent, hybrid role with the flexibility to be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, or Adelaide.
As a key member of our support team, you’ll play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of our time and attendance systems, providing expert assistance to stakeholders across the business. What will my day involve?
- Work with People Leaders to ensure timecard exceptions and timely approvals
- Liaise with care home administrators to reconcile schedules and timecard exceptions
- Identify compliance metrics while managing pay close activities
- Perform compliance reporting & monitoring for all Business Units
- Assist in implementing and monitoring compliance metrics, procedures, and controls
- Support in conducting timecard adherence checks and audits throughout each pay cycle
- Complete Pay cycle file extract & processing
- Maintain organisational and job structures
- Provide support, oversight, and account maintenance for Employee Dimensions accounts
- Manage and update pay codes, leave codes, and related pay rules
- Investigate and resolve ServiceNow tickets submitted by the business
- Administer public holiday updates and maintenance
- Contribute to the design and regular improvement of training materials and frameworks.
- Deliver Q&A sessions for end users and business leaders.
- Create and maintain training documentation.
- Payroll system configuration, ensuring data integrity through audits and report writing
What will I bring?
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Finance or relevant experience
- 1–3 years’ experience in compliance, risk management, auditing, payroll or related areas
- Functional experience with HR technologies preferred (e.g., UKG Dimensions, Workforce Management Systems)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
- Ability to quickly adapt to system updates
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
