Senior Mobile Application Support Engineer

We are building a new capability within the Mobile team and are looking for 2 strong engineers to support this function. The focus will be on capability development and incident management specific to mobile, with hands-on involvement in the codebase.
We’re seeking candidates with specialised skills in:
- Android – Kotlin
- iOS – Swift
These roles will play a key part in enhancing and stabilising our mobile platforms.
Opportunity Snapshot:
Responsible for the triage, analysis, design, coding and testing activities with an expectation of contributing to BAU support and development activities utilising your skills in iOS Swift and/or Android Kotlin technology.
Reports into the Digital Support Team as a member of the Mobile App Platforms BAU team. Works on support and enhancements for multiple mobile applications built using iOS Swift and/or Android Kotlin technologies to meet or exceed the business and customer expectations.
Contributes to development activities on Bupa’s mobile applications.

Qualifications and training
- Typically require a tertiary qualification in an IT discipline.
- Relevant tertiary qualification at degree level.
- Minimum experience in similar role.
- At least 5 years of experience in iOS and/or Android technologies, preferably Swift/Kotlin. Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Desire to work in a digital systems environment.
- Ability to function as a thought leader as well as an individual contributor.
- Experience with Xamarin Native is highly desirable.
- Experience with Appium Automation and Native Automation Tooling is highly desirable. Experience with Postman and API testing is highly desirable
