The purpose of this job is…..
The ADF Health Services Contract provides integrated and seamless end-to-end health support to 85,000 Defence personnel across 59 facilities. This includes integrated workforce providing health services such as primary and occupational healthcare, dental, physiotherapy, mental health and psychology services, pharmacy, occupational rehabilitation and health administration. As well pathology, imaging and radiology, vocational rehabilitation, mental health, hospital, specialist, allied health, patient transport and other off base services enabled by Bupa systems.
In this Part-time role as the National Workforce Manager – you’ll be accountable for leading key operational activities and teams that support the contractual and commercial performance of the Bupa on-base workforce.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead key members of the service delivery team to deliver on-base operational activities, including but not limited to JHC readiness, rostering, vacancy backfill, locum management, travel , Alternative Craft Group, Novation and AGSVA requests
- Management of key commercial measures including tracking of performance against targets and AOP
- Work with the Business Process Analyst and relevant service delivery team members to review and co design on-base work processes, standard operating procedures, policies and workflows
- Undertake root cause analysis of identified issues to ensure sustainable solutions are identified, successfully implemented and monitored
- Work in partnership with internal Bupa stakeholders to ensure compliance and oversight of contractual, QA, WHS and clinical governance requirements
- Provide ongoing coaching and development (e.g. Goal Setting) to direct reports with a focus on delivering a high performing, nationally consistent operating model
- Lead projects and initiatives to improve Bupa on-base performance
- Support root cause analysis of identified issues to ensure sustainable solutions are identified, successfully implemented and monitored
What you’ll need to make it possible
- This is a Security Cleared Position. The occupant must be an Australian Citizen and must be eligible to obtain and uphold a Baseline Security Clearance
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience – ideally in an operational role looking after rostering, leave backfill
- Team leader management experience
- Proven experience managing operating environments in a commercial setting
- Experience in delivery of services to meet agreed contractual obligations and SLAs
- Proven ability to set and achieve clearly defined objectives and measures to drive business outcomes and meet service level agreements
- Demonstrated commitment to, and practice of, leadership driven culture and building collaborative working environments across a national network
- Effective time management and communication skills
