Merchandising Specialist

The purpose of the role
The Merchandising Specialist is responsible for optimising digital experiences to drive better conversion rates and improve customer journeys. The role drives performance across our digital experiences, using data and insights to inform the design, development and delivery of merchandising activities across our core web/app experiences and campaigns (including but not limited to all brand campaigns, retail campaigns and adhoc / reactionary campaigns). The Merchandising Specialist is a key contributor to the planning and execution of A/B tests and experience personalisation activities to optimise customer journeys and maximize customer and commercial outcomes. Your expertise in both digital merchandising, digital production and analytics will be key in refining user experiences across various platforms. The Merchandising Specialist works collaboratively with design, development, and content teams in crossfunctional squads to shape, design and deliver digital production tasks, ensuring that each initiative aligns with the goals for growth and customer satisfaction for business units across the enterprise
What you’ll need to make it possible
- 5+ years’ experience working as a digital optimisation specialist
- Experience working across a wide range of digital projects (content or product)
- Skills in platforms such as Adobe Target, Sitespect, Adobe Analytics, Audience Manager, Sitecore and Tealium
- Strong knowledge of digital A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and other optimization methods.
- Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Experience with web analytics tools: Proficiency in using tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles: Ability to design and optimize digital experiences that are user-friendly and engaging.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Ability to clearly communicate findings and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Exceptional time management skills, consistently meeting deadlines and effectively balancing multiple tasks without compromising quality
