Be at the heart of it!

We have a clear ambition to be the world's most customer-centric healthcare company. To bring our ambition to life, we’re elevating the focus on digital and data, evolving how we do things to create value for our customers now and into the future.

We’re looking for a commercially minded and customer-obsessed Digital Sales Performance Lead to optimise the performance of Bupa’s digital sales/e-commerce channels across Web and App. With most of our Health Insurance sales coming from digital, this role is instrumental in driving how new customers discover, engage with, and join Bupa.

As a key leader within the Digital Service and Innovation team within Health Insurance, you’ll shape strategies that influence the entire sales funnel – from top-of-funnel engagement to conversion. Your work will enable smarter investments, better experiences, and stronger growth across our digital footprint.

This full-time, permanent role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane. Plus, with Bupa’s flexible hybrid working arrangements, you’ll have the option to combine work from home and the office.

How will you make an impact?

As the Digital Sales Performance Lead at Bupa Health Insurance, your day-to-day will involve working across multiple Growth and Acquisition Crew squads and stakeholders to elevate our digital join experience. You’ll combine sharp commercial thinking with strong collaboration to make a real impact on sales performance.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, optimise and drive digital sales/e-commerce outcomes aligned to key business objectives.
  • Manage digital sales strategy investment cases and initiative funding.
  • Shape the sales funnel roadmap across Bupa’s digital channels to drive acquisition.
  • Collaborate with Product, CX, Digital, and frontline teams to embed customer-focused enhancements.
  • Influence content and communication strategies to increase digital sales adoption.
  • Govern and track sales funnel performance, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance and risk controls are embedded into all sales initiatives.

About You

You’re a strategic thinker with a digital mindset and commercial lens. You’re energised by data, enjoy solving complex problems, and thrive in a cross-functional environment where your decisions drive real results.

Key skills and experience required:

  • 10+ years' experience in digital product management, online sales, or digital delivery roles
  • Experience with Agile and cross-functional team environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial analysis skills.
  • Ability to lead business case development and track initiative outcomes.
  • Comfortable using data and insight to drive digital strategy and experience improvements.
  • Skilled stakeholder manager with excellent communication and influencing capability.
  • Experience in health insurance, financial services or ecommerce is highly desirable.

What’s in it for you?

As well as a competitive salary, a range of Bupa benefits and flexible working/work from home arrangements, you’ll be encouraged to innovate. You will be collaborating with various teams to deliver exceptional experiences. You will have the opportunity to further learn and develop with excellent internal development courses available and a supportive career development environment. We trust, respect, and consider everyone, knowing your difference will make the difference.
