This is a key role focused on building a high-performing digital platform that drives customer acquisition, engagement and health proposition delivery.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys building, shipping, and scaling products end-to-end, balancing customer, commercial and platform outcomes. You’ll lead a cross-functional squad to deliver impactful web experiences, including digital health tools, content-driven customer journeys  and conversion pathways.

You’ll play a hands-on role in shaping how customers discover, engage and take action through Blua , creating connected experiences across health engagement tools, content. and AI-enabled interactions. This work is critical to driving growth, engagement and faster delivery at scale.

Reporting to the Crew Lead – Blua Digital, this is a permanent full-time position based in Melbourne or Sydney, with hybrid working arrangements.

How will you make an impact?

This Digital Product Manager role sits within the Blua Web squad, responsible for evolving Blua’s web experience as a core channel across:

  • Customer acquisition and discovery
  • Conversion into health insurance, services and health plans
  • Digital health tools and engagement experiences

You’ll lead the squad through discovery, design, build and release, ensuring delivery of high-quality, scalable product outcomes.

Your impact will be seen through improved funnel performance, platform capability and user engagement, alongside building new experiences that support Blua’s broader health strategy.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Own and maintain the Blua Web product backlog, aligning priorities to customer needs, strategy and measurable outcomes
  • Lead end-to-end product delivery, managing dependencies, risks and sequencing to deliver high-quality releases
  • Partner closely with engineering, design and content teams to deliver practical, scalable solutions
  • Define and communicate a clear product roadmap, balancing immediate delivery with longer-term platform evolution
  • Drive improvements in conversion funnels, engagement and experimentation across the web experience
  • Oversee development of digital health tools, CMS/platform capabilities and web components
  • Track, measure and communicate product performance using data, KPIs and customer insights

What you’ll need to make it possible

You are an experienced Digital Product Manager who enjoys owning digital platforms and leading squads in fast-moving environments. You’re comfortable working in ambiguity, bringing structure where needed while maintaining momentum and focus on outcomes.

You’re pragmatic, hands-on and outcome-driven, with a strong bias to action. You care about building great experiences, but equally about delivering real business impact.

Key skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience as a Digital Product Manager, ideally across web platforms, digital products or customer-facing ecosystems
  • Experience leading agile squads through discovery, delivery and continuous iteration
  • Strong understanding of prioritisation, experimentation and data-informed decision making
  • Experience improving conversion funnels, engagement or acquisition performance
  • Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity, while driving clarity and progress
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to clearly communicate product direction and trade-offs
  • A proactive, builder mindset — someone who takes ownership and gets things done

Nice to have:

  • Experience with CMS platforms, SEO/AEO/GEO, or content-driven digital experiences
  • Exposure to digital health, AI-enabled products, or platform transformations
  • A passion for building, experimenting or creating outside of work

When COVID-19 hit we knew we had a responsibility to care for our customers by putting them at the heart of our decisions.

For this reason, in April 2020 our Health Insurance team invested over $50M and created the hardship team to support our customers when they most needed it.
