The Purpose of this job is…
As the Digital Product Manager within the Blua Digital crew, you will lead the Commercial Propositions & Loyalty Squad for the Blua mobile app. This is a key role focused on delivering commercially driven digital experiences, including Bupa Health Services, loyalty and rewards, partner offers, and Blua’s corporate health and wellbeing proposition. If you’re passionate about owning digital products end-to-end, balancing customer experience with commercial impact, and leading cross-functional squads to deliver meaningful outcomes, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact.
You’ll play a hands-on role in evolving how customers and corporate partners engage with Blua through personalised promotions, marketplace-style experiences and subscription-based propositions. This work is critical to driving customer engagement, commercial growth and faster speed-to-market across the Blua app.
Reporting to the Crew Lead – Blua Digital, this is a permanent fulltime position and can be based in Melbourne or Sydney, with hybrid working arrangements (a mix of working from home and in-office collaboration).
How will you make an impact?
This Digital Product Manager role sits within the Commercial Propositions and Loyalty Squad, responsible for evolving Blua’s B2C commercial offers and B2B corporate health and wellbeing propositions within the Blua app, including:
- Blua for Business – Corporate Health and Wellbeing, and
- Rewards, loyalty and personalised offers delivered through the Blua app
You’ll lead the squad through discovery, design, build and release, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-centric product increments. Your impact will be seen through the successful evolution of corporate subscriptions, loyalty experiences and promotional capabilities that improve engagement, accelerate delivery and support Bupa’s broader growth ambitions.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring priorities align to commercial outcomes, customer needs and product strategy
- Lead end-to-end product delivery, managing dependencies, risks and sequencing to achieve timely, high-quality releases ‑
- Partner closely with engineers, designers and stakeholders to shape solutions and ensure strong technical and experience outcomes
- Develop and communicate a clear squad roadmap, balancing short-term delivery with longer-term product evolution
- Champion customer experience, accessibility and usability across all initiatives
- Track, measure and communicate product performance and outcomes using relevant metrics and KPIs
What you’ll need to make it possible
You are an experienced Digital Product Manager who enjoys owning commercially focused digital products and leading cross functional squads in agile environments. You’re comfortable working across B2C and B2B2C products, and you care deeply about how customers experience products while delivering measurable business value.
You’re pragmatic, commercially minded and confident navigating ambiguity, with the ability to translate business objectives into clear, deliverable product outcomes.
Key skills and experience required:
- Proven experience as a Digital Product Manager working on native mobile apps, marketplace or ecommerce products, or loyalty and rewards platforms
- Experience delivering B2C and/or B2B2C digital products, ideally involving cross‑sell, promotions or subscriptions
- Strong experience leading agile squads through continuous discovery, delivery and iteration
- Sound understanding of prioritisation, lean product practices and data informed decision making
- Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity while maintaining momentum and focus on outcomes
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product direction and trade offs
- A genuine passion for customer experience, loyalty, engagement and continuous improvement
