Crew Delivery Manager

The Crew Delivery Manager supports contact centre operations across phone (Amazon Connect) and messaging (Sprinklr) channels, where Bupa customers engage digitally.
Opportunity Snapshot
To drive end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives that require delivery coordination across multiple digital squads, multiple crews, enterprise platforms, Go-To-Market, Legal, Customer, external vendors and / or a combination of all these teams, including other teams not listed. The role is a key enabler of complex digital initiatives by ensuring oversight when initiative complexity goes beyond the capabilities of squad level delivery by digital Product Managers.
Not limited to complex initiative delivery, the role is also a key enabler to digital portfolio execution culture by mentoring and coaching other delivery roles, like Product Managers and thus improving overall digital execution capability.
What you’ll need to make it possible
- Minimum 5 years with proven experience in running cross-functional agile delivery teams, including evidence of having built high-performing delivery teams.
- Minimum 5 years with proven experience in delivering complex digital initiatives into market.
- Practical experience of operating hybrid delivery methods for technology development, including agile methodologies, waterfall delivery and lean
- Experience working with delivery and collaboration toolsets, especially work systems e.g. MS Azure DevOps, Atlassian Jira, etc.
- Experience working within matrix structures, with demonstrated ability to broker outcomes effectively and collaboratively with colleagues and peers.
- Evidence of continuous improvement, developing purposeful solutions and practices to improve applications, end-to-end solutions, and team performance.
- Ability to establish complex roadmaps, program plans and visions — working within an evolving environment of agile software delivery, or more traditional modes depending on the nature of the application and teaming requirements.
- Demonstrated understanding of standard project techniques including reporting, scheduling, dependency management
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential with an ability to convey complex messages simply and concisely.
- Excellent report writing skills.
