What’s your role?
The Corporate Product Manager is responsible for developing and driving the value proposition for corporate health insurance customers. The role has accountability for developing the most compelling product offering in the market and end-to-end customer experience to meet business objectives. The position also has end to end ownership of membership and gross margin and acts as the customer champion for corporate customers.
What will my day involve?
- Working alongside the Corporate CVP Manager, to design and develop a robust customer-oriented product strategy, focusing on acquisition and retaining key customer segments.
- Being the champion for the customer.
- Leading all aspects of the creation and delivery of the product offer including Product design, Benefit levels, Coverage, Access, Service, Processes and Pricing and develop new proposition offerings to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Providing strategic and tactical management of the Customer Value Delivery Program including proposition strategy, product changes, benefit and rate changes, policy updates, terms, training etc.
- Proactively driving the development of new product offerings, new business volumes, product profitability, and protection / growth of gross margins.
- Leading and facilitating product assessment and innovation including product extension, value adds, product bundling, packaging etc.
- Qualitative and strategic assessment of segment offering including product, pricing and hierarchy analysis vs competitor product offerings, and the development of tactical responses with cross-functional teams.
- Providing product knowledge to product team and other business units.
- Other responsibilities as directed by the Corporate CVP Manager.
- Carrying out any other duties reasonably requested by Bupa from time to time.
What will I bring?
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience working in an end-to-end product build role.
- A strong knowledge of health insurance products preferred.
- Passion for the customer is essential.
- A proactive desire to drive a differentiated proposition for the segment.
