Opportunity snapshot 

Reporting to the Content Governance Manager, the Content Governance Specialist will drive the implementation and continuous improvement of content governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and high-quality standards. 

This role will collaborate closely with the Content Governance Manager, Content Compliance Producer and cross-functional teams to lead and deliver efficient and effective content governance. 

 Responsibilities 

  • Drive the continuous improvement and implementation of content governance frameworks and processes, ensuring alignment with organisational policies and regulatory requirements. 
  • Define and maintain guidelines for end-to-end-content development, including publication, and review, ensuring consistency across all content produced. 
  • Engagement of cross-functional teams, facilitating a practical, transparent, and scalable approach to content governance. 
  • Identify content approval process improvement, ensuring all content is reviewed, approved, and compliant with business requirements and industry regulations. 
  • Work closely with the Content Governance Manager, legal, product, and risk teams to ensure smooth and timely approval workflows. 
  • Identify potential risks and issues related to content governance and compliance, escalating them as necessary to the relevant stakeholders. 
  • Recommend and contribute to the development and execution of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Tracking and management of content approval to ensure that content complies with regulatory and organisational standards at all stages. Analyse content governance data to identify trends and areas for improvement in processes. 
  • Compile and generate regular reports for senior management and key stakeholders on the performance of content governance activities. 
  • Work closely with the Content Governance Manager and other content teams to ensure alignment of governance practices with overall content strategy and objectives. 
  • Translate complex business requirements into effective governance solutions that are scalable and sustainable. 
  • Define, design and deliver training to upskill stakeholders in content governance processes.

 Requirements 

  • Strong understanding of content governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements within a content experience environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in the health insurance sector is beneficial. 
  • Experience working within an agile delivery environment would be advantageous. 
  • Extensive experience supporting content approval and governance processes, ideally in a highly regulated industry. 
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), such as Sitecore, and content governance tools. 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across different departments. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
