Opportunity snapshot 

We are looking for a Content Compliance Specialist who plays a critical role in ensuring enterprise‑wide content is consistent, compliant and aligned with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards. 

The role works closely with content teams and stakeholders across the content community to support a practical, scalable approach to content reviews, combining hands‑on content development, conducting content audits and analysis of audit findings to uplift content quality and compliance.

Reporting to the Content Governance Manager, this role supports the ongoing review and embedding of content governance practices and initiatives across business.

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support the compliant creation, review, updating and distribution of content.
  • Develop ongoing analysis, monitoring and reporting on content compliance, establishing KPIs and sharing insights with key decision‑makers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct content audits and reviews across customer‑facing channels and business units, and review audit outputs to identify common issues, themes and trends.
  • Triage audit findings and work with content teams to facilitate remediation and content updates, supported by targeted and periodic reviews where required.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to embed and enhance consistency in content practices.
  • Support the development and implementation of content governance processes, frameworks and policies.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities to strengthen a consistent, enterprise‑wide approach to content governance across relevant business units and channels.
  • Contribute to auditing and reporting on the organisation’s content maturity.
  • Risk management – identify potential risks associated with content and support the business in mitigating those risks.
  • Support content incident management and delivery as needed, ensuring appropriate controls are in place.
  • Ensure content risks are reported through appropriate channels and tracked through to resolution.
  • Stay informed of industry and regulatory changes that may impact content and proactively identify opportunities to reduce content compliance risk.

Requirements 

  • Experience working in an enterprise digital content team in a highly regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of content development and maintenance, from creation through to publication, across multiple digital channels.
  • Experience working in an Agile-first business with cross functional teams including digital product, technology, marketing, risk, product and legal teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience conducting content audits, content reviews or quality assurance activities across content teams highly desirable. 
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex requirements and findings for a broad audience of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence behaviours and support teams to improve content practices.
