The purpose of the Associate – Strategy Planning & Performance, is to lead the monthly strategic reporting process to support decision-making at the Executive Leadership Team level and to support the design and management of the 3-year planning process. As a member of the Strategy Planning & Performance APAC team, this role will be responsible for engaging with cross-functional KPI owners and stakeholder groups to source the required inputs for the monthly reporting cycle, analyse results, problem-solve key risk areas and synthesise key messages for senior audience.
With your meticulous attention to detail, you will manage the current reporting processes and tools, and definitions of key reporting metrics.
Reporting to the Head of Strategy Planning & Performance APAC, this position is offered as permanent, full-time based in Melbourne (preferred) or Sydney with flexible hybrid work arrangements available.
The key to your success, will be your limitless appetite for learning, particularly in strategic planning, design-thinking, customer health trends and healthcare, and your disciplined execution to manage competing demands and deliver high quality work. You’ll champion innovation, customer-centricity and sustainability.
What is needed to make it possible:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or similar relevant discipline
- Recent foundation experience in management consulting, strategic reporting, financial analysis, or a similar analytical role, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong analytical capability, high attention to detail, and solid organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in data visualisation tools (Power BI) considered an advantage.
- High level of curiosity to interrogate numbers, extract executive-level insights and continue to optimise processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex data simply and shaping clear, compelling performance narratives.
- Confident in proactively engaging cross functional stakeholders, providing reporting updates, and guiding teams on KPI definitions and measurement processes.
- Customer-first mindset, with an ability to work across simultaneous assignments efficiently, accurately and at pace
