About the Role: Lead with Integrity and Compassion
As General Manager, you will be at the helm of our Coburg care home, guiding its daily operations with a deep commitment to our Bupa Model of Care. You’ll champion an environment where residents are at the heart of everything we do, and where our team feels supported, inspired, and empowered to deliver outstanding care.

You’ll work closely with a team of dedicated professionals, including clinical leaders and the Regional Manager, to meet business goals while elevating the overall resident experience.

In this role, you will:
Lead with Purpose: Shape the culture of care by empowering your team to deliver outstanding service and build meaningful relationships with residents and families.
Shape the Future: Drive strategic business goals while ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and dignity for every resident.
Champion Change: Act as a change leader, guiding the home through continuous improvement initiatives and creating a work environment where innovation and growth are celebrated.
Develop Others: Focus on people development through training, coaching, and creating career pathways, ensuring your team not only meets but exceeds their potential.
Support and Collaborate: Partner with clinical leaders to minimise clinical risks, ensure compliance, and foster a workplace culture built on collaboration and trust.
What We’re Looking For: A Values-Driven Leader
You are more than a manager – you are a leader who leads with integrity, compassion, and a passion for making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. You bring:
Proven experience in aged care management or a similar leadership role.
A people-first mentality, with a strong focus on developing staff and fostering a supportive, empowering environment.
A deep understanding of service improvement, WHS principles, and experience navigating regulatory environments.
Exceptional communication skills and emotional intelligence to engage, motivate, and lead your team with empathy.
A passion for continuous learning, with a commitment to your personal and professional growth – ideally with or working towards a qualification in Health Management or Aged Care.
