The heart of the role
As a Quality Education Manager, you won’t just support your team, you’ll empower them to grow, thrive, and deliver care that truly makes a difference.
You’ll take on a meaningful role in our welcoming care home, where each day brings new opportunities to coach, mentor and lead with purpose. With the freedom to shape best practice and inspire others, your work will have a lasting impact.
Duties include:
- Provide quality focused leadership and coaching and guidance in relation to documentation/recording to ensure care and services provided meets expected outcomes.
- Develop team members knowledge and understanding of expectations of practice within the framework of the Aged Care Quality Standards and their own scope of practice.
- Maintain the Care Home’s Plan for Continuous Improvement (PCI) in collaboration with leadership team including the transfer of insights from the Quality Indicator Report and monthly review meetings with other leadership team members.
- Responsible for ensuring Government NQIP (National Quality Indicator) program data is submitted in line with Bupa timeframes, and analysed, with any improvements documented and actioned.
- Coordination and completion of all monthly Care Home Audits within the Operations Essential audit program.
- Management and delivery of the highest quality clinical care of Residents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation consistent with policy, legislation, and privacy requirements.
What will you bring?
- Bachelor of Nursing with current APHRA is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and delegation skills
- A passion and tailored approach to development, training and education
- Postgraduate qualification in Aged Care and Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) is desirable but not necessary
- Proven track record in identifying, delivering and maintaining quality clinical care, coaching & training.
- Demonstrated success in overcoming and managing noncompliance in staff training
- Ability to foster a team environment and build collaborative relationships.
- Highly effective communication, leadership, and relationship management skills
- An extensive understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
