About the role: 

Reporting to and supported by the Senior Health Assessor, Pathology Collectors/Health Assessors will be responsible for providing quality health assessments to customers undertaking a medical assessment as part of their visa application process.

Details of the role include: 

  • A casual Pathology Collector to join our team!
  • Availability required across Mondays to Sundays, we can offer minimum of 4 hours to 7.6 hours per shift. 
  • Experienced with paediatric bleeding (2+ years old) will be highly regarded.
  • Working across a rotational roster between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday & weekends from 8-4pm (great weekend penalty rates apply!)

The role includes: 

  • Identity checks, blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, vision testing, urinalysis, and venepuncture
  • Facilitate smooth delivery of the applicants through the medical assessment to ensure a timely and accurate service
  • Adhere to clinical governance and associated policies and procedures
  • Accurate documentation of results in eHealth record

Your background: 

  • Certificate III or IV in Pathology (mandatory)
  • Must have a current Working with Children's Check, or be willing to obtain one
  • Phlebotomy experience essential
  • Experience working with people of multi-cultural background
  • Excellent customer service skills
