About the Role

We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Claims Processing Consultants. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end assessment of complex claim requests across Hospital, Medical, and Ancillary services. You will act as a key liaison between Bupa, our members, and healthcare providers—ensuring claims are processed accurately, enquiries are handled efficiently, and our commitment to outstanding service is upheld at every step.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and process a variety of claims, including Hospital, Medical, and Ancillary services
  • Interpret and apply health insurance policies, schedules, and relevant regulations with accuracy
  • Manage both inbound and outbound communications in relation to claims and accounts
  • Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency and support self-service initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of claims-related enquiries

Work Arrangements

The first three months will be based onsite at our Adelaide CBD office for training and onboarding. After that, you’ll transition to a hybrid work model in consultation with your Team Leader.

About You

Previous experience in health insurance or claims is not essential. We’re looking for individuals who are curious, detail-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.

You will bring:

  • Confidence in navigating multiple digital systems and platforms
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong focus on compliance and accuracy
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to also work autonomously
