What are the Registered Nurse duties?

Clinical care delivery: Administer medications, manage wounds, and provide clinical treatments in line with care plans and best practice standards.

Resident health monitoring: Assess, observe, and record residents’ physical and mental health to detect changes and respond appropriately.

Care planning: Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Leadership and supervision: Support and guide care staff (e.g., personal care assistants), ensuring quality care and adherence to policies.

Communication and family liaison: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, compassionate care.

Compliance and documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organisational policies.
