As Bupa continues to focus on delivering enhanced services to our practices, we have a rewarding career opportunity available for an experienced, passionate and commercially astute individual to join the Practice Operations and Development team.
The primary focus of this position is to:
- Provide operational and financial direction and influence for a group of practices (including team management, operational effectiveness and compliance requirements, in line with agreed business strategy)
- Build strong relationships with all Practice Clinicians and employees
- Lead, manage and develop Practice Managers, including providing expert advice and constructive guidance during practice visits
- Overall responsibility for P&L results
About the role:
- Work closely with the Practice Principal and Practice Manager to identify, develop and drive opportunities for practice improvement and enhancement
- Lead and support Practice Manager’s, including management of performance and development
- Gain and maintain a detailed understanding of all aspects of the day to day running of the practice and be the practice subject matter expert from an operational perspective
- Provide expert advice, support and training to the Practice on all BDC processes and procedures and drive completion of mandatory compliance activities
- Review and interpret practice data and utilise to influence improvements within the individual practice as appropriate
- Provide relevant and timely reporting
- Drive the Bupa Code principles across the network through effective management and leadership practices
About you:
You must have strong multi-site experience (minimum 5 years) gained from working in business, account management or relationship management role
- Proven experience reading, supporting and influencing Profit and Loss statements
- Previous experience leading and motivating a team (including team management)
- Ambitious, driven and qualified with proven skills in business partnering, effective collaboration and ability to influence and negotiate
- A willingness to improve business processes and able to work with stakeholders to deliver practice and corporate outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated training and coaching skills
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and a commitment to deliver high quality, client focused outcomes
- Flexible with working hours partnered with the ability to frequently travel throughout Melbourne
- Open to interstate travel if and when required.
- Valid driver’s licence
