Delivery Manager – 12 Months fixed term contract - Melbourne

About the Role

 We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager (DM) to lead and coordinate complex delivery activities across multiple vendors and delivery squads. You will act as the central point of coordination, ensuring alignment between business stakeholders, vendors and technology teams. 

The role has a strong business focus, requiring excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a deep understanding of Healthcare Services, Dental and Medical practices, and/or BVAC business processes. The role will have a skew towards business stakeholders rather than technology. 

Key Responsibilities 
 As a Delivery Manager, you will: 

• Drive delivery of multiple small components to achieve broader objectives, even when they appear disconnected. 
• Engage business leaders to understand and agree scope, mandatory requirements and ongoing data lifecycle management. 
• Deliver agreed project scope within required timeframe, cost constraints, and quality standards. 
• Identify delivery risks or issues and devise solutions to avoid or resolve.  
• Manage incremental releases across various systems to treat data, working with tech delivery teams and external vendors. 
• Lead discussions and collaborate with subject matter experts to design and implement solutions for deleting data, ensuring integration across systems. 
• Explore Dental/Medical business processes to assess impacts of data deletion, supported by Business Analysts. 
• Develop and maintain comprehensive delivery plans, showing timelines and dependencies. 
• Work closely with the Risk team to demonstrate how each release reduces risk and contributes to the target outcome. 

Example Activities You’ll Coordinate: 

• Integration of solutions between tech teams and Dental/Medical vendors to remove customer/patient data no longer required. 
• File deletion processes with the Wintel team, ensuring alignment with BA and communications representatives. 
• Stakeholder engagement across multiple business units to ensure smooth delivery. 

About You 

• Proven experience in delivery management with a strong business orientation. 
• Ability to manage complex, multi-component projects with diverse stakeholders. 
• Strong understanding of Healthcare Services, Dental and Medical practice operations, and/or BVAC business processes. 
• Experience of operating hybrid delivery methods including agile methodologies, waterfall delivery and lean 
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. 
• Experience working with vendors and technical teams to deliver business outcomes. 
• Proactive leadership to own and solve problems. 
• Data retention experience is highly desirable, particularly in regulated environments.
